Why is the Abominable Snowman so Abominable??

i'll tell you why:

photoshop experimenting with textures

Some 3D Stuff

Made a 6 layer cake for Collabustration! It has a bajillion cookies embedded in it for support and a hazelnut roof. It is the ISB. Not to scale. Structurally sound cause soooooo much frosting.

Poster for Collabustration. Everyone in the show submitted a sketch and the organizers of the show combined them all into a poster. Here's mine..

Some 3D experimenting illustrations.
Probably not going to continue to work this way anymore. it was fun.

Posters

Some posters made for work. Trying different things/experimenting for each one. That is why they kind of look like they are done by different people..
The colors shown here are a bit less vibrant/desaturated than they actually are. I do not understand why because when I upload from other computers...the colors are pretty much the same. help.

salsa band.

6 flags trip. should have better incorporated the text.

Carr Haus launch party. This one was fun to do! These are colors I never use. Theme is super glam star trek. date needs to change.

Lecture. Not so good actually

Lecture 2. The green is supposed to be a brilliant bright green.

More to come!

BLOCK PARTY

Here is the poster for the Block Party. Hopefully I will be able to get this img on the screens for screen printing shirts at the block party.

A Where's Waldo theme except where's Scrotie (our mascot)...because there will be SO MUCH going on at the Block Party. SO many more clubs and orgs than previous years. I hope we can all fit on the street...

Some other ideas for the Block Party but kind of failed so I did not continue with this poster.
Was going to go with the Block theme from previous years. So it is a block/cube unraveling and revealing the Block Party.

FULL Bar, Fail Bar, Freshman Fifteen Bar

An experiment with the FULL Bar. Illustrated!!

one weekend my friends and i decided to try the Full Bar for funs. if you haven't heard of it, it's available at cvs, rite aid, etc in the healthy/protein bar section.

The real instructions for how to use the Full Bar effectively:
1. eat the full bar
2. drink a cup of water
3. wait 30 min
4. only eat half your meal

to make this a real challenge... we decided to try this before we ate lunch at Bennie's (thai food that comes out really fast.. sometimes before you even finish saying your order! my food came out in 2 min!!!!!!)

so we got both the Full Bar (banana nut flavor) and some Full Bites (like cheetos) it was so dry and hard to eat and super filling. after drinking the water we were all SO FULL. the Fullbar products made us EXTREMELY THIRSTY. the bar was probably the equivalent of flavored styrofoam, while the full bites were pretty good:

we didn't think we would be able to eat lunch but once we got to Benny's this is what happened:

oM NOM NOM NOM. NOM NOM NOM. Drawn while watching Kick Ass (really good actually). that is probably why the food is flying everywhere. we had more manners than that.

so in conclusion, the Full Bar failed us..it just expanded our stomaches and prepped us to eat more. maybe the professional food eaters can eat full bars instead of grapes or cabbage used to expand their stomachs before a contest. check out my scientific diagrams below:

Imagine a Full Bar eating contest. Just like Nathan's except with Full Bar.
It makes you super thirsty but if you dip them in water it grows like magic. what to do..what to do...

Then my friends decided to give a Fullbar review on youtube. I almost died laughing.

Exquisite Corpses Rendered

Played exquisite corpse with some friends and the more we drew the stranger they became. Here are some drawings rendered. Not too realistically. If you can't tell, there are four different segments. I was inspired by those artists who took children's sketches and painted them realistically. Go see some at: The Monster Engine. Those actually look a bit creepy and some disturbing. Mine just look durrrr. Could work on them more. Next Time.

Take a look:

And original drawings:

Fantastic waste of time!

(my segment was the one in pencil. why are there balls shooting out of a spoon you ask...cause we were balling melons that day!! and eating them)

Fears While Biking Part 1

part 1 of Fears While Biking illustrated. sometimes while biking i think of some improbable things. one of my fears is that one of those small yappy dogs will run towards me+bike, break off the leash, get sucked into the vortex of the spinning tires, then get sliced up. here is a nice image so you can see.  (done in acrylic)
above: example of small yappy dog.
dog says: bark bark bark look at me i'm so annoying. yap yap

Stolen

Some super fast drawings about a friend's house. Best house in the world for stories. Drawings may not make sense to those unfamiliar with the house and the things  and people in it. BETTTER drawings for next time.
